Each day of Dive Into Adventure Bonaire 2006 will offer adventure-filled diving and on-land activities, educational opportunities and evening entertainment. Participants are free to selectively participate in the activities, spend their entire day diving or following the program as offered. No matter what event participants choose to do, they can be rest assured they will have a fun, educational and memorable week in Bonaire. Click here to view the not-to-be-missed program highlights.
Meet and dive with local experts from various facets of diving: Conservation, Adventure, Exploration, Technical Diving, Underwater Photography, Videography, Underwater Modeling, and Fish ID.
Meet some of the Dive Industry's most famous personalities, including those from the world of Conservation, Exploration and Adventure.
Participate in great topside adventures including: Windsurfing, Landsailing, Kiteboarding, Ocean Kayaking, Mangrove Kayaking, National Park Safaris, Snorkeling, Mountain Biking and Abseiling.
Attend the Dive Into Adventure Bonaire opening event -- "Taste of Bonaire" -- in Wilhelmina Park. The event will feature booths with local food and arts and crafts, live entertainment and opportunities to meet local Bonairean diving experts and Governor Herbert Domacasse, who will officially open the event.
Be a part of the first annual Bonaire Fun Games. Taking place in Bonaire's National Stadium, this fish-themed event will have teams competing in fun games along with a delectable grand finale -- a BBQ under the stars for all!
Learn about Reef Caretaking ... it's one step beyond reef clean-up.
Try your hand at photography and take part in the Dive Into Adventure Bonaire Photo Competition. Event participants themselves select winners. Enter to win one of the great prizes!
Attend fun Bonaire sunset parties and enjoy a range of local entertainment.
Think you know your fish? Participate in a fish survey with the Bonaire National Marine Park.
Simply enjoy diving -- night or day -- at one of the island's 86 marked sites. Bonaire is the #1 shore diving destination worldwide 10 years in a row, as voted by the readers of Scuba Diving Magazine, and according to CNN (May 2005). It is also among the top four best dive destinations in the world.
Each day of Dive Into Adventure Bonaire 2006 provides you with the flexibility to create the Bonaire experience you want! Opportunities to dive whenever and wherever you want are available with the "General Island Diving" part of the program. Or maybe join one of our "local diving stars" for a specialized dive activity* like underwater photography and technical diving taking place both in the mornings and afternoons throughout the week. If you find an activity you'd like to participate in just contact the star directly to reserve your spot (space for activities may be limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis).
Dive Into Adventure Bonaire will also offer opportunities for fun and exciting land- and water-based adventure activities*. Bonaire's top "local adventure stars" are participating in the event, offering you the chance to experience the extensive variety of adventure activities available. Activities take place both in the mornings and afternoons and include windsurfing, mountain biking, kiteboarding, abseiling, horseback riding, sailing and more. Check the Bonaire Stars page for more information and as with the specialized dive activities if you see an activity you'd like to participate in just contact the local adventure star to book your spot (space for activities may be limited and available on a first-come-first-serve basis).
And the activities do not end there ... you can expand your knowledge of diving and marine life, learn about conservation issues and initiatives and even have a few laughs by attending the evening presentations which will be led by both local and international experts.
